At last Amazon prime is with a new gift for its user. The “Tandav” movie which was the topic of gossips for many is now available on Amazon prime. The series 9 of Saif Ali Khan is divided into different parts. Where before release this film was being compared with Prakash Jha’s film “rajneeti” but “tandav” contain different story. In Tandav two films are simultaneously running. In which one story is for prime minister’s post. And the second story is about the partiality, casteism, capitalist and fascism which is taking place in University and also about getting freedom from all these evil practices. The story of this series shows the love, ambition, appetite, boasting, hatred and envy which is taking birth in human. Tandav is the story betrayal in the game of posts (politics) no one stands for rights and wrongs. Everyone cares about politics. Initially right wing (southern sect) party (JLD) are ready to win thrice election of Jan Lok Dal, after which it is confirmed that Devki Nandan (Tigmanshu dhuliai) once more ready to be PM. But his tragic demise caused boom in country. But after Devki Nandan everybody suggest his son Samar Pratap Singh (Saif Ali Khan) to look after his dad’s post, but he spurn it.
This causes turbulence in between the party. For the post of pm candidates stand up. But who will win in this path, the question runs whole series.
In another side There is VNU’s (Vivekananda National University) politics. Here young student leader Shiva Shekhar (Mohammed Jassin Ayyub) who stands with farmers strike, overnight gets into discussion because of social media. After which his speech takes him to prime minister’s office.
These two stories get depart after sometime, but after some episode when they get reunion, becomes the cause of real Tandav (here: tension).
- Acting
Most interesting part of this series is its magnificent casting Saif Ali Khan Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover including All Star shined on screen.. Tigmanshu Dhulia’s roll was of short interval yet it was effective. Too students leader Jassin Ayyub played his role with honesty and obedience, which will be seen by audienc too.
- Direction
Ali Abbas Zafar showed his political drama fictitious yet he tried it to keep connected with realness. There are many incident in series which will put you in dilemma of whether to laugh or get emotional on. This series is bit slow in process but it has the power to catch its viewers. Many facet of story is still to come out by which there are assumptions that story will get to end soon, but this is still not declared.
